Mohd Ridzuan Bin Amir is a School Improvement Specialist Coach Plus (SISC+) TVET currently attached to the Bangsar/Pudu District Education Office, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He received his early education at Padang Tembak Secondary School, Kuala Lumpur before pursuing his studies in Accounting at Universiti Utara Malaysia. His strong interest in education led him to continue his studies in the Postgraduate Teaching Course at the Kuala Terengganu Teachers Training College, Terengganu. He then furthered his studies at the Master’s level in Educational Administration at Universiti Putra Malaysia.
To date Mohd Ridzuan Bin Amir has been actively contributing for more than 20 years in the world of education and currently he is a School Improvement Specialist Coach (SISC+) who acts as a coach to the Middle Leaders Team & Teachers in the Bangsar and Pudu districts.He carries out class visits and conducts training to improve teaching and learning practices for his coachees to ensure effective teaching strategies are adhered by teachers in Bangsar and Pudu Districts. He is also an Educational Leadership & Instructional Team Partner (ELIT Partner) who provides professional support and guidance to schools in the implementation of TS25. His role is important in helping schools apply best practices in management, leadership, and pedagogy in order to improve the quality of education and of course improving students’ achievement. In addition he also provides training for teachers in order to help conduct the 21st Century Learning lessons (PAK21) with a vision to produce a generation of globally competitive educators, Mohd Ridzuan Bin Amir remains committed to sharing his knowledge and contributing his expertise to society. He believes that education is the key to change and that every teacher and student deserves the opportunity to succeed.
